10 months

Feb 21- went to Aunt Joan's and uncle joes' for her 10 month birthday! She had so much fun playing with Kojak. She just loves her Aunt Joan and Uncle Joe too. They couldn't stop giving her kisses. It's so cute because Aunt Joan knew we were coming over and she bought food for Addie! She even called me and said I have her covered so you don't have to worry about bringing stuff. How adorable!

Feb 22- Grandma stopped over after work to visit with Addie for a little bit. We had fun playing!

Feb 24- We visited Gina during the day today and can't wait to find out if Addie will have a future college roomie or a future boyfriend. Gina and Ben are expecting and so excited for them! Gina is so good with Addie when we visit and Addie just loves her Aunt Gina!

Tonight we had dinner with Becca, David and Annika. Addie did pretty good throughout dinner, but towards the end she wasn't having anything to do with her highchair. We took her out and she had fun sitting on my lap and Jeremy's. She was watching Annika and can't wait to do some playdates this summer with them!

Feb 25- We had swimming classes again and Addie just loves it!

ok-- missed some time in here so here is the next update...

I know that Grammie picked up Addie from school on one Friday because they were having a fish fry at her school and the parking is horrible so I asked my mom if she could pick Addie up. She was so excited, she told all her friends at work and she just couldn't wait to pick her up.

March 7th- We went to Aunt Joan's and Uncle Joe's today to celebrate AUnt Joan's 79th birthday! Addie did really good and had lots of fun. She even got some of the frosting from Aunt JOan's cake. She wanted more but I wouldn't let her.

March 10th- We got a visit from Mary this morning. Addie did ok... she was a little fussy and felt bad because she wasn't in the best of moods for her Auntie Mary. Later at night we had dinner with Elizabeth, Harrison and Grandma at Baranby's. Addie did really good and we took some pics of the kiddos at the table.

March 11th- daddy came and watched Addie at her swimming class today. He took some time off and was able to join us.

March 17th- Grammie came over and watched Addie for alittle bit today since I had a Dr. Appt and they played outside together, did their ABC's, rode on the train... .all kids of stuff. Grammie visits alot and I should put it in the blog more on when she visits, but always forget to do that. When I came home, my mom told me that Addie stood up all by herself for a few seconds!!! I missed it... but Grammie got to have a special moment with her grandbaby.

This past week has been so nice outside that Addie and I have enjoyed taking walks and playing with the neighborhood kids. I can't even pull in the drive way or walk outside and all the kids are over to play with Addie. They are so good with her too! She has been pushing her truck all the way over to Tom and Margie's and all the way back to our house. She is getting some really good exercise in!

March 19th- We took Addie out for what we thought was going to be a walk but our next door neighbors were outside with our other neighbors so Addie got to play with Maddox, Coen and Marek. Her and all the boys in teh neighborhood! She is going to be tough! She got to ride on her first 4 wheeler with Memaw (Myrna).

March 20th- today is her 11th month birthday and it hasn't started out the best. We met Elizabeth, Harrison, Grandma and Grandpa for pictures with real bunnies. The bunnies and Harrison did so good on the photo shoot, but Addie cried alot. I wonder if there will be any good pics..... she managed to smile when I gave her my blackberry to hold onto. She loves the phone and loves to push buttons.

In the afternoon, Grandma and Grandpa came over to watch Addie for a little bit. Grandma said she didn't fuss at all and they played alot. She likes to unstack her colored blocks that we play with and likes to take her toys out of her basket. She ate really good for Grandma too!

*****************************

Addie can say the following words. Mama, Daddy, utt oh, bob bob, and dog.

She is starting to eat Gerber graduates right now. She still only has 2 teeth and don't want to force big texture foods for her. We are taking our time as our doctor suggest. So many people rush and we aren't. We are doing what the doctor says.

Addie enjoys going outside and walking with her toy truck. She can push it on the grass and all over the driveway!

She has stood up for a few seconds by herself... so may be the start of walking by herself will be in the next few weeks!
