1st time tubing

Jeremy's work department had a party at his bosses lake house on Lake Shaffer, Indiana Beach.  They have 2 jet skis, pontoon boat, paddle boat, and a speed boat!  Thank goodness they had tons of life vests for all the kids for the boats!  Addie couldn't wait to get into the water.  I didn't bring my bathing suit because they were only calling for a high of 70 and didn't think it would be warm enough to swim at all... boy was I wrong.  We got Addie changed and took her on a paddle boat ride and then we ended up going on the pontoon boat.  Pontoon boats have changed since I was a kid.  They go super fast now! 

There was about 24 of us in total and we had a blast.  The guys ruled the jet skis, the kids loved tubing and the woman loved the pontoon boat!

All the older kids went tubing first and then it was Addison's turn.  Jeremy's boss was driving the boat and was going slower because you don't want to freak a little kid out (or mama for that matter).  Well, after going for a few minutes at a safe speed, Jeremy asked Addie if she wanted to go faster and not to my surprise she said yes!  She LOVED it.  Jeremy held onto her vest the whole time and if he was going to get flipped off, they both were going to get flipped off.  He wasn't letting go of his little girl. Thank goodness they didn't fall off as I would have panicked, but I think that is what being a mom is all about.

We all had a blast and can't wait for this to become an annual trip for the work department.
